The end of the 2013-14 Current OC television season has been quiet for us as we upgrade technical operations behind the scenes. In the fall, we’ll be launching programming with the help of an all-new state-of-the-art control room, bringing us one step closer to our goal of airing in high definition (and ultimately bringing a higher quality viewing experience to you). Some of the highlights in this first phase of our updates include a new production switcher, new routing, the installation of a flat panel monitor wall, the installation and configuration of a digital audio console, as well as a media server designed to handle on air graphics/animation and other video-related show content. We’re excited about the improvements being made to our operations and promise a year full of exciting new content and scheduling for 2014-15.
