It’s finally spring which means it’s time for tennis to start their season. When the final bell rings at 2:35 not every student’s day comes to an end. The Ocean City High School Men’s Tennis Team practice many hours after school, taking the time to perfect their skills. What makes tennis stand out compared to other sports is hand-eye coordination, flexibility, strength and speed. Being involved in a sport that requires hard work and challenging skills can be tiring but when it’s time to take the court it’s worth it. The Ocean City High School tennis team is preparing for their season by practicing as a team and having many scrimmages against other nearby schools. This is getting the team physically and mentaly prepared for anything in the upcoming season. Be sure to come out this spring to see the Men’s Tennis Team take the court.
