OCHS Celebrates Pi Day

Pi day is celebrated every year on the 14th day of the third month around the world. This year OCHS celebrated it on the 15th (because schools were closed due to the nor’easter on the 14th). Pi a Greek letter is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159265359

Pi has been calculated to over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point.

 

Here at OCHS we celebrate Pi day in a unique fashion with a variety of activities…
